Quick Look: Top Features of the Toyota Tundra

While Fresno drivers have many options in the full-size truck segment, if you're looking a pickup with lots of features at all levels, the Toyota Tundra is a standout in its class. Available in five trim levels, Tundra comes well equipped no matter which tier you choose. Here's a quick look at a few of our favorite features.

  • Standard Safety Features: Most full-size pickups are pretty bare-bones at the base "work truck" level; reserving all the premium features for the higher and more expensive trim levels. Tundra comes standard with several Toyota Safety Sense driver-assistance technologies, including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control.

  • Standard and Available V-8 Power: Across the lineup, Tundra finds power in a 4.6-liter V-8 engine that makes 310 horsepower and 327 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, all tiers offer an available 5.7-liter V-8 powerplant that produces 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. Power runs to the rear-wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive is available as an option.

  • Trail Tenacity: More than just a workhorse, Tundra likes to play too. The TRD Off-Road package offers essential off-road features like off-road tires, trail-tuned suspension, skid plates, and tow hooks. Or you can opt for the TRD Pro trim level, which comes fully equipped to tackle the trails, adding a 2-inch suspension lift, BBS forged wheels, fog lights, and beefier aluminum Fox shocks.
